1. How to request deletion

You can ask us to delete your account and personal data in either of these ways:

• By email: write to gbrhatcheries@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Include your name and the mobile number or email registered with us, and tell us which service it relates to (for example, the GBR Traders app, WhatsApp, or a website enquiry).
• In the app: where available, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account in the GBR Traders app.

You do not need to have an account to make a request — for example, if you only sent us an enquiry or a WhatsApp message.

2. If you used Facebook or WhatsApp

If you signed in with Facebook, you can first remove our app from your Facebook account: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, select our app and click Remove. Then email us as above so we can delete the data we already received.

To stop receiving WhatsApp messages from us, reply STOP in the chat. To delete your chat history and contact details from our systems, send a deletion request as above.

3. What happens next

• We will confirm your request and may contact you to verify your identity, so that no one else can delete your data.
• We will complete the deletion within 30 days of verification and confirm by email or SMS.
• Your account will be closed and you will no longer be able to log in or view past orders in the app.

4. What is deleted and what is retained

Deleted: your profile and login details, contact details, business profile and documents, saved addresses, messages and enquiries, device and notification data, and marketing preferences.

Retained: invoices, payment and transaction records that we are legally required to keep for tax, GST and accounting purposes (up to 8 years), and information needed to resolve an open dispute or outstanding payment. This data is kept securely, used only for those purposes, and deleted once the retention period ends.
